Fast and friendly service at a fair price. Called around this was the lowest cost shop in town and half of what the dealer wanted. He charged a fair price for labor & parts. Will take my vehicles here in the future.

My fiancé and I were trying to pass emissions the week before Christmas so we could travel safely. We went to another mechanic who wanted to over charge us then had his shop closed that Monday. We ended up going here and had a wonderful experience. The mechanics took our car in that Monday evening and said they could have us on the road by noon the next day. We got a call the next morning at 8 saying they had it fixed and even discovered that the other mechanic hadn't put back multiple parts the last time they worked on it. They instructed us to drive the car in which we did. The light ended up coming on and they continued to work on it til we passed and had us on the road when we needed to be. Not to mention the services were very affordable and the mechanics are extremely reliable and friendly.

If you are looking for an extremely skilled, honest mechanic, look no further. I have been dealing with mechanics for 10 years now and rarely do business reviews but he has earned my loyalty as a customer so I figured the least I could do was write a review about his shop.
Jim has done work on my Toyota pickup, my girlfriends Tahoe, my mothers Trailblazer, as well as friends vehicles. He uses quality replacement parts like AC Delco and Motorcraft (basically you wont find an auto zone part in sight) the mechanics are honest and explain all the repairs in details ( as well as tell you anything else that might need to be done in the near future) the labor rates are in line, if not lower than other certified shops in town, and the work is done quickly and on time..
I just found out that Jim Roberts Auto Repair has been in business for over 35 years, and I see why..
Cheap mechanics using cheap parts to make a dollar come and go, but if you step inside this shop and talk to anyone that has done business with this man you will see why he has been in business for so long.. Good honest mechanics are hard to find, and I would give this place 6 stars if I could.

When you find a good mechanic you want to hang onto them! Such is the case with Roberts!

My 11-year-old SUV is running like new, Thanks to Roberts Auto Repair. I was considering trading my SUV because of a number of issues. But I really like it and don't want anything different so I took it to Roberts to have them check it out. They explained that there was not anything seriously wrong with the vehicle but that it had 160,000 miles on it and could benefit from performing all the usual maintenance plus new spark plugs. I had them do all the fluids, check brakes, new titanium spark plugs, put on new tires, balance and check the alignment. In addition they repaired an inoperable passenger window that has just recently quit working. The reason that prompted me to go was a check engine light that was addressed by changing a part on the air intake. This had been confirmed by another on-board diagnostic check by another repairman. They had my car back to me the next day and it literally runs like new. I can't believe the difference, smooth, quiet with good acceleration and braking. The window works perfectly. They offered to do the next oil change free when it is due. I had heard Roberts has a good reputation from several friends In my experience, they were fair, conservative in their recommendations and reasonably priced. In addition they worked quickly, keeping my car only overnight while waiting on a part. Auto repair costs money just like everything else of value. I was not looking for a cheap discount fly-by-night place, I was looking for a reliable repair shop I could trust. These guys were fair and honest, just like their motto.
